About The Position

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking a Busser to support restaurant operations and deliver genuine hospitality to guests, associates, purveyors, partners, and the community. The role involves communicating with managers, servers, and hosts and assisting them with their duties. Bussers are expected to understand service procedures, help their coworkers, and prioritize guest satisfaction. The position requires arriving on time and maintaining a clean uniform and good personal hygiene. Bussers answer guests’ questions, handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as a priority, work cooperatively with management and coworkers, follow safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, report unsafe conditions, use materials and equipment properly, and know the restaurant’s emergency procedures. They must also maintain knowledge of and follow the standards and procedures in the associate handbook.

Responsibilities

Report to work on time as scheduled and maintain a clean uniform and good personal hygiene.
Answer guests’ questions about the restaurant and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist others with their duties when needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement positively.
Follow applicable safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions; and use materials and equipment properly.
Know the restaurant’s emergency procedures.
Perform duties and follow standards and procedures stated in the associate handbook.
