About The Position

As a Server, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. You are expected to contribute to smooth restaurant operations through attentive guest service, teamwork, and compliance with food safety and company policies. Previous serving experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided. The position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and address guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the restaurant POS system, and verify them before submission.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly according to presentation standards, and ensure meals include appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked.
Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and special requests.
Promote daily specials, desserts, and beverages, and suggest additional items or upgrades.
Follow health, safety, and food safety guidelines and company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
