About The Position

As a Server at NESSO, you help ensure guests have a positive dining experience by providing attentive customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. You assist guests with menu selections, respond professionally to questions and special requests, and coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to support smooth restaurant operations. The role also includes promoting menu items, handling transactions, and following food safety and alcohol-service procedures. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and respond professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the restaurant POS system, and verify accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly according to presentation standards.
Perform tableside tasks such as wine presentations, bread and oil service, and water service.
Promote wine pairings, specialty cocktails, desserts, daily specials, and other menu items.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items and appropriate condiments or accompaniments.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked.
Help with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and special requests to team members.
Follow health, safety, and food safety guidelines and company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
