About The Position

Intown Golf Club is seeking an experienced, driven, service-focused Server to provide guests with a high-quality dining experience. The role involves taking and serving food and drink orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and responding promptly to guest needs while handling multiple tables and coordinating with bar and kitchen staff. Servers also assist with opening and closing duties and follow applicable liquor laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of serving experience.
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays.
• Friendly, attentive attitude.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
• Must meet the minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Passion for providing customers with high-quality service.
• Willingness to work peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and make recommendations.
• Provide accurate bills, serve food and drinks, process payments, and supply guests with what they need in a timely manner.
• Handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently.
• Communicate orders clearly with bar staff and the kitchen.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing ingredients and restocking items such as straws and napkins.
• Check identification to confirm customers are of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Comply with local, state, and federal liquor laws.
