About The Position

Requirements

At least 2 years of residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting experience across all aspects of electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality-control testing, and troubleshoot.
Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and existing settings.
Detail-oriented, with good time-management skills.
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 75 pounds without additional manpower or an appropriate device.
Ability to work safely outdoors in heat and cold and on ladders and/or roofs at medium to high heights.
Maintain a well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards.
Maintain a clean working area to increase customer loyalty.
Educate customers and offer appropriate upgrades that can be completed immediately or at a scheduled time.
Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
Document completed work with before-and-after photos.
Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
