About The Position

Intown Golf Club is seeking an experienced, driven, service-focused Server to provide guests with a high-quality dining experience. The Server takes and serves food and drink orders, makes recommendations, processes payments, and responds to guest needs in a timely manner. The role also involves handling multiple tables, communicating orders with kitchen and bar staff, assisting with opening and closing duties, and checking identification for alcohol purchases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of serving experience.
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays.
• Friendly, attentive attitude.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
• Must meet the minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Passion for providing customers with high-quality service.
• Willingness to work peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and make recommendations.
• Provide accurate bills, serve food and drinks, process payments, and attend to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently.
• Communicate orders clearly to bar staff and the kitchen.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing ingredients and restocking supplies such as straws and napkins.
• Check identification to confirm customers are of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Comply with local, state, and federal liquor laws.
