Server 6:30am-2:30pm $15-22 (Part Time)
About The Position
The Server welcomes residents, helps them feel comfortable, and fosters connection in the dining room through attentive presence and friendly interaction. The role also prepares tables and food items for service, rolls silverware, buses tables, and keeps dining areas clean. Servers communicate observations about residents’ dietary habits, changes in appetite, and meal absences to supervisors and Wellness staff. This position is part-time at Princeton in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with Friday and Saturday shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The stated pay range is $15–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
- Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
- Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables and salads for upcoming meals and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, and residents who are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
