About The Position
Servers and Bartenders at Honor Brewing, located inside Dulles International Airport, create an exceptional and memorable guest experience. They are expected to have extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings and provide personalized recommendations. The role includes delivering timely service, taking accurate orders, upselling, and representing the Honor mission and brand while helping guests feel welcome. Responsibilities
- Follow the steps of service in a way that fits the employee’s personality and Honor’s culture.
- Pace the guest experience.
- Respond to guest issues and alert a manager for support.
- Balance interactive and silent service.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and stay ahead of them.
- Pre-bus tables throughout the guest visit.
- Check identification for all guests under 40 who order alcohol.
- Ensure every guest is happy.
- Use menu knowledge to guide guests through Honor beers, food, and additional beverage offerings.
- Communicate the Honor mission using brand knowledge.
- Bid farewell with a warm thank you and an invitation to return.
- Support teammates with other tasks when needed.
- Manage cash throughout the shift.
- Keep the restaurant clean throughout the shift.
- Keep server stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
