About The Position

The Server Assistant maintains a neat and orderly dining room and guest service area in an assigned restaurant within Hershey Lodge. This part-time role supports servers and helps ensure dining areas are clean, stocked, and ready for guests. Work schedules are based on union seniority and operational needs, and will most likely include evening and weekend hours.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and staff.
Must present a clean and professional image.
Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods.
Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner.
Ability to work flexible shifts during breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to operational needs.
Must be able to meet scheduled requirements, most likely including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Assist servers.
Restock dining and service areas.
Clear and reset tables.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets.
Pour coffee and water when required.
Ensure condiments are sufficiently supplied on guest tables before guests are seated.
Tray food orders and deliver them efficiently and accurately to the correct table number.
Forward guest concerns to the applicable wait staff member or supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
