About The Position

The Server Assistant provides energetic, guest-oriented assistance to Servers in The Merchant Room, a fine dining New American Brasserie at Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort. The role supports service by delivering items to guests, helping maintain clean and clear dining areas, and anticipating guest and team needs. The position includes opening and closing side work, setting and maintaining tables and stations, and providing professional, courteous, and efficient guest service. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that may include afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience is required.
• Strong ability to multitask and communicate continually with the server and bar teams to understand their needs.
• Good communication skills for direct guest contact.
• Confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.
• Ability to stand continuously for 8 or more hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Applicants must have current work authorization in the United States.

• High-end restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Servers by providing water, bread service, coffee, and tea throughout guests’ meals.
• Replace silverware when necessary, clear dirty dishes, anticipate guests’ needs, and communicate with team members before requests are made.
• Complete assigned opening and closing side work and set all tables according to standards.
• Set and maintain stations, and break down buffets, displays, and check stations during service or as needed.
• Clear tables efficiently and quietly between guests and reset them for the specific number of guests.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile, and provide professional, courteous, and efficient service.
