About The Position

The Server Assistant supports service at The French Room, an iconic Dallas dining destination located in The Adolphus. The role is suited to someone starting in the restaurant industry who aims to understand more than the menu and help create a welcoming guest experience. By anticipating and fulfilling guests’ needs—including delivering food promptly and refilling drinks—the Server Assistant helps guests enjoy their meal and the restaurant’s ambiance.

Requirements

A proactive and friendly demeanor.
Ability to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables, and replace linens.

Prior experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Set and prepare tables, including folding napkins and cleaning and placing tableware.
Check tableware for condition and report defects for repair.
Stock, maintain, and clean designated food stations.
Assist servers with table service, including running food and serving beverages.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
Clear flatware and dishware, clean tables, and replace linens.
