Adorn Bar & Restaurant - Server Assistant- Temporary
About The Position
The Server Assistant is an essential member of the Adorn Bar & Restaurant team, supporting guest dining experiences through efficient and professional service. The role requires strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and a willingness to work as part of a team and accept assignments as needed. Candidates should be comfortable using electronic systems. This is a full-time temporary position tentatively running from September through the end of December, with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate various electronic systems.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility for one's role within the team.
- Valid U.S. work authorization.
Nice To Haves
- Background in upscale dining, preferably with an emphasis on high volume.
Responsibilities
- Assist food servers and bartenders with serving food, setting up and clearing china, glassware, and silverware.
- Polish glassware and stock the bar and lounge with appropriate glassware, linens, and other service tools.
- Organize and clean back-of-house areas.
- Requisition dry goods and operating supplies.
