About The Position
The Server Assistant supports the 107 Bistro & Wine Bar team in providing excellent service to guests at Testarossa Winery’s historic site in Los Gatos. The bistro serves California cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients and offers an outdoor dining experience. The role involves assisting servers and maintaining service areas, glassware, and workstations.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proactive, productive, and positive team player who follows policies and procedures.
- Professional appearance.
- Weekend and holiday availability, Friday through Sunday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently; stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, lift, grab, and bend throughout each shift; frequently use stairs and a ramp; and occasionally kneel, push, and pull.
- Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions for the duration of the shift.
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality or food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support servers by setting up tables, delivering and describing food items, and bussing.
- Stock service station areas.
- Prepare and stock wine glasses, water glasses, and other items for service.
- Assist with wine bottle purchases and orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the work area and workstations.
