About The Position

The Bistro Server provides service to hotel guests at the Bistro by preparing and serving food and drinks. The role includes food preparation, taking orders, serving guests, stocking, cleaning tables, and preparing and cleaning the area for the next day. The server engages with hotel guests to help ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Shifts usually begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m., or when closing cleanup is completed. The position may require working multiple roles during a shift, including cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server. The ideal candidate has a passion for food and beverage service, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.

Requirements

Flexibility to work shifts and report for scheduled shifts.
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Weekend availability.

Food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitized prep cooler.
Work multiple roles during a shift, including cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server.
Follow cleanliness and food-handling standards.
Use chemicals and equipment properly according to manufacturers' guidelines.
Set up and maintain food and beverage items during food service, meeting room events, and special guest functions, ensuring appropriate quantities and temperatures.
Follow company policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer.
Clean the service area after food service according to standards and procedures.
Carry out reasonable requests from management.
Take orders, prepare and serve food and drinks, stock items, wipe down tables, engage with hotel guests, and complete cleanup and next-day preparation.
