About The Position

The SEO Specialist is a freelance, remote role supporting an established SEO team at a US-based robotics company specializing in physical AI. The role helps grow the client’s organic visibility through content creation, publishing, website optimization, and support for off-page and technical SEO. The specialist works under an SEO manager and handles assigned activities according to team priorities and experience.

Responsibilities include writing, editing, repurposing, formatting, and publishing blog posts and articles; checking content for accuracy before publication; optimizing on-page elements; supporting guest content, outreach, listings, and local SEO; assisting with basic technical SEO tasks; and preparing or posting social media content as needed. The position requires clear communication, attention to detail, responsiveness to feedback, and meeting deadlines.

This is a remote position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM PST. Compensation is $7 per hour. No benefits package is included. The worker must provide a computer meeting the stated specifications, reliable internet, a headset with a noise-canceling extended microphone, a webcam, backup computer and internet connection, and a quiet, dedicated workspace.

Requirements

• Hands-on on-page and off-page SEO experience, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and images; working with sitemaps and crawl errors; and submitting listings and articles.
• Strong English writing skills, including the ability to create clear, engaging, keyword-focused articles of 750+ words, blog posts, and guest posts.
• Experience uploading and formatting content through a website CMS.
• Working knowledge of keyword use, content structure, and internal linking.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow content guidelines and established processes.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console.
• Ability to follow direction, manage assigned tasks, communicate progress, collaborate under a manager’s guidance, learn tools and workflows, meet deadlines, and apply feedback quickly.
• Provide a computer with at least 8 GB RAM and an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher, a reliable internet connection of at least 40 Mbps, a headset with an extended noise-canceling microphone, a webcam, backup computer and internet connection, and a quiet dedicated workspace at home.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, repurpose, and publish blog posts and articles based on assigned topics, keywords, and content guidelines.
• Format and upload content through the CMS; check links, images, tags, and overall accuracy before publication.
• Optimize meta tags, headings, internal links, images, and anchor text using keyword and content-structure best practices.
• Update existing content as directed.
• Support guest content, article submissions, business listings, and external blog outreach.
• Assist with local listing updates and website link submissions.
• Support sitemap updates, crawl issue reviews, and website improvement tasks as assigned and appropriate to experience.
• Assist with social media content preparation and posting as needed.
• Coordinate with the SEO manager and team, apply feedback, communicate progress, and meet deadlines.
