About The Position

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role responsible for driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines in a defined territory among appropriate patients. The TAS engages healthcare providers (HCPs) through differentiated customer experiences and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with approved product labeling. The role builds and maintains professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians and other HCPs, office staff, and stakeholders in the patient-care continuum, serving as a primary point of contact and coordinating with other BMS functions to meet customer needs. The TAS promotes approved product indications compliantly, supports safe and appropriate use, and works toward assigned business results and performance objectives. The role requires scientific expertise, territory and account planning, customer-focused selling, data-informed engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is field-based and expected to spend much of its time with external customers. Employment offers are contingent on meeting the company's qualified-driver requirements because the role requires operating a company-provided vehicle.
