About The Position

Braze’s Expert Services team is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to own project delivery and technical solutioning across a portfolio of customer projects. Depending on each engagement, the role may lead end-to-end delivery, own deep technical architecture and integration work, or combine both. The position requires moving between project delivery and technical ownership to provide customers with the appropriate blend of program management and technical expertise. The Senior Technical Architect works with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Delivery Managers, and Technical Architects to help customers achieve rapid time to value and optimal return on their Braze investment. The role owns implementation engagements from onboarding through go-live, designs and implements technical solutions such as SDK and API integrations, aligns stakeholders and manages project scope and timelines, and supports adoption, success measurement, and customer enablement. It also contributes to process improvement and effective handoffs to Customer Success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 2 to 5 years in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in implementations, technical consulting, or customer success, with experience in both project delivery and hands-on technical work.
  • Strong project management skills and technical depth in APIs, SDKs, or related integration work.
  • Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with concepts such as SaaS, mobile, APIs, marketing automation, analytics, or programming (HTML, etc.), sufficient to own SDK/API integration workstreams directly.
  • Strong organization, reliability, and project-tracking discipline, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve project and technical issues.
  • Ability to collaborate, manage competing priorities, motivate stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong listening, verbal, written, and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences through video calls, workshops, and written communication.
  • Comfort building with AI tools to accelerate workstreams and improve day-to-day efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer implementation engagements from onboarding through go-live, providing project delivery, technical solutioning, or both according to engagement needs.
  • Design and implement technical solutions, including SDK and API integrations, while managing timelines, scope, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Engage customer stakeholders, from senior staff to end users, to understand business and technical goals and build relationships across accounts.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve project risks and technical blockers.
  • Serve as the technical conduit between Braze and customer product and engineering teams, translating requirements into actionable technical plans when technical ownership is needed.
  • Document stakeholder roles, technical requirements, and integration details to support handoff to the Customer Success Manager team.
  • Coordinate with customer agencies and third parties to align external partners with project goals and timelines.
  • Drive early adoption, establish KPIs and success metrics, and apply best practices to accelerate time to value.
  • Advocate customer use cases to product development and stay current on Braze platform capabilities, including technical enablement such as Decisioning Studio training.
  • Improve delivery and technical processes, and deliver customer-specific enablement training and workshops.
  • Maintain the organizational and communication discipline of a Delivery Manager alongside the technical depth of a Technical Architect.
