About The Position

Braze’s Expert Services team is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to own project delivery and technical solutioning across a portfolio of customer projects. Depending on each engagement, the role may lead end-to-end delivery, perform in-depth technical architecture and integration work, or combine both. The position requires moving fluidly between delivery management and technical ownership to provide customers with the right balance of program management and technical expertise. The role works alongside Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Delivery Managers, and Technical Architects to help customers achieve rapid time to value and optimal return on their Braze investment. It includes leading implementation engagements from onboarding through go-live, designing and implementing integrations, managing timelines and stakeholders, resolving project and technical blockers, and supporting adoption, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Two to five years of experience in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in implementations, technical consulting, or customer success, with experience in both project delivery and hands-on technical work.
  • Strong project management skills and technical depth in APIs, SDKs, or related integration work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with technical concepts such as SaaS, mobile, APIs, marketing automation, analytics, or programming (HTML, etc.), sufficient to own SDK/API integration workstreams directly.
  • Strong organization, reliability, and continuous-improvement mindset, including consistent project tracking.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and resolving project and technical issues.
  • Ability to collaborate, manage conflicting priorities, motivate stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences through calls, workshops, and writing.
  • Comfort building with AI tools to accelerate workstreams and improve day-to-day efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer implementation engagements from onboarding through go-live, providing end-to-end project delivery and technical solutioning as required.
  • Design and implement technical solutions, including SDK and API integrations, while managing project timelines, scope, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Engage customer stakeholders at different levels to understand business and technical goals and build relationships across the account.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve project risks and technical blockers.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable technical plans and serve as the technical conduit between Braze and customer product and engineering teams when needed.
  • Document stakeholder roles, technical requirements, and integration details to support handoff to the Customer Success Manager team.
  • Coordinate with customer agencies and third parties to align external partners with project goals and timelines.
