Senior TeamCenter PLM Developer

Anduril•Costa Mesa, CA

About The Position

Anduril is hiring an experienced PLM Software Engineer for the ArsenalOS PLM team. ArsenalOS is Anduril’s unified production systems platform, connecting PLM, MES, WMS, supply chain, and other systems to support manufacturing operations. The team is building an integrated engineering backbone intended to connect design, bills of materials, planning, work instructions, quality workflows, suppliers, and production feedback across the product lifecycle. In this hands-on role, you will architect and implement mission-critical Teamcenter customizations, integrations, and solutions used by engineering teams to manage and deliver complex hardware products. The work includes developing custom ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace customizations, and enterprise integrations, as well as connecting CAD, ERP, MES, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. You will help build the platform in a greenfield environment, with an emphasis on modern architecture, clean code, speed, ownership, and pragmatic execution. The role works closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to address challenges involving product data, BOMs, change management, and configuration management. The position also contributes to platform reliability and observability, establishes architecture and engineering standards, and uses AI-assisted development tools to accelerate high-quality delivery. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Teamcenter development experience.

  • Experience with BMIDE data modeling and customization.
  • Experience with SOA services and handlers.
  • Experience customizing and developing Active Workspace (AWC).
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, database schema, and administration.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, C++, and C#.
  • Experience with modern software development practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, and ability to use them for rapid, high-quality development.
  • Experience with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements.
  • Database experience, including SQL, Oracle or SQL Server, data modeling, and query optimization.
  • Strong commitment to code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • U.S. Person status is required because the position needs access to export-controlled data.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Teamcenter upgrades or migrations, such as 14.x to 2506/25.x, and cloud deployment architectures.
  • Experience with CAD integrations such as NX or SolidWorks, and other PLM platforms such as Windchill, Aras, or Enovia.
  • Experience in hyper-growth, startup-like environments or aerospace/defense manufacturing.
  • Understanding of PLM-adjacent systems, including ERP (Oracle, SAP), MES, WMS, CAD, and BOM management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development lifecycle, and engineering change management.
  • Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and REST APIs.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver complex Teamcenter customizations and integrations for ArsenalOS PLM using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and Active Workspace.
  • Build high-performance integrations between Teamcenter and other ArsenalOS systems, including ERP, MES, change management, requirements management, and CAD systems.
  • Design and implement scalable data models, business logic, and workflow solutions while minimizing upgrade friction.
  • Contribute to improving platform observability and reliability, including use of tools such as Datadog.
  • Promote engineering excellence through technical decisions, architectural guidance, and high-quality code contributions.
  • Use frontier AI tooling such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot for rapid development and model effective high-speed work for the team.
  • Collaborate with systems architecture, software product and design, change management, requirements management, and manufacturing teams.
  • Define architecture standards for scalable growth and move solutions from concept through prototype to production.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are considered part of total compensation.
  • Top-tier benefits for full-time employees, described as comprehensive and competitive and available at little to no cost to employees.
