About The Position

A privately owned jet engine manufacturer is seeking a Senior PLM Engineer to support and expand its Teamcenter PLM environment. The role serves as a technical authority across the organization, driving system maintenance, customization, and continuous improvement. The position is based on-site in Pontiac, Michigan, with a stated salary range of $140,000–$160,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Teamcenter Rich Client experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter installation and configuration, BMIDE, workflows, stylesheets, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Organization, and Indexer.
• Experience providing end-user support and elevated helpdesk resolution.
• Scripting and development experience with HTML, XML, Windows Batch, PowerShell, Java, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience with ITK customization and custom Teamcenter reporting.
• Experience with Teamcenter/NX Managed Mode and NX customizations.
• Windows and Linux server administration experience.
• Experience with Jira and Bitbucket/Git, or equivalent tools, in a software engineering team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to anticipate problems and work independently.
• U.S. citizenship is required; must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required, including screening for marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PLM and Configuration Management teams on ongoing Teamcenter maintenance, including workflows, stylesheets, and access control.
• Build and deploy monthly customization packages aligned with business needs.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter issues affecting individual users or the broader organization.
• Mentor and cross-train junior team members.
• Stay current on PLM trends and evaluate emerging tools and capabilities.
