About The Position
The Senior Specialist, Change Management supports the execution, development, and continuous improvement of the change control process for the RAQA Division under minimal supervision. The role ensures that the process complies with applicable standards and regulations and provides backup support for audits when needed. It also contributes to user-training program development and supports the division while collaborating with SGS Change Management on process execution. This hybrid position is based in Portage, Michigan, with 10% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal, technical, or regulated environment.
- Prior experience in change management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PLM systems, such as Windchill.
- Familiarity with audit processes and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to internal customers and help meet business needs under minimal supervision.
- Prioritize and complete PLM Help incidents and tasks in the ServiceNow queue for users at all organizational levels.
- Provide support to Senior Change Management Engineers.
- Liaise with relevant functional groups and facilitate and mentor teams through the change control process.
- Support and assist change owners and initiators.
- Ensure compliance with relevant corporate procedures and serve as a PLM system super user.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaboration, and promote the development and implementation of quality data and reports to improve and optimize business processes and results.
- Partner in, lead, or attend discussions on global processes, corporate forums, and collaboration arenas to improve change control processes and systems.
- Deliver training and coaching to new change management users on change management principles and the system.
- Monitor emerging issues and identify solutions.
- Provide backup support for audits when needed.
