About The Position

Independent Management Services is hiring a Senior Property Manager for Gateway Plaza in Kansas City, Kansas. The role oversees property management operations, budgets, marketing, leasing, and landlord/tenant relations, and directs the operations and performance of multiple communities. The manager leads Site Managers and office and maintenance personnel, and fosters working relationships with residents, site management, vendors and contractors, and property ownership. The position reports directly to the Senior Property Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Tax Credit Compliance, EIV, and HUD Section 8 subsidy programs.
• Knowledge of REAC and MOR compliance.
• Adherence to Federal Fair Housing Laws.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Leasing, sales, and customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Paycom software and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite.
• Experience managing residential communities, preferably subsidized housing.
• A sales-minded approach.
