About The Position

Vego Garden is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Specialist to lead product marketing for an assigned set of product categories. The role develops deep knowledge of products, customers, and competitors; writes product copy for launch across channels; and helps raise the quality of the work across the team. The specialist serves as the first reviewer of product pages and turns recurring feedback into documented team standards. The role owns product information handoffs from Product Development, ensuring specifications, claims, and proof points are complete. Testable claims must be approved, substantiated, and recorded in the claims registry before publication. The specialist writes Product Detail Page copy and installs it into Figma wireframes with visual direction, reviews teammates’ drafts against documented standards, and maintains brand voice and messaging consistency. The specialist contributes to launch briefs, recommends product naming and site placement, and coordinates with Product Development, Creative, UI/UX, and E-commerce to resolve open questions and keep launches on schedule. The role also supports launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and peak-season work across categories. This is a full-time hybrid position based at Vego Garden’s headquarters in Tomball, Texas, and its farmhouse in Spring, Texas. The schedule is four days onsite and one remote workday per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position involves both desk work and outdoor work in a farm setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of product marketing, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer content experience.
  • Demonstrated experience writing product pages or product content at volume for a consumer brand.
  • Experience with Figma, Google Workspace, project management software, and AI writing tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Strong copywriting ability, including conveying ideas concisely and evocatively.
  • Ability to interpret specification sheets and customer reviews to identify what matters to buyers.
  • Editorial judgment and ability to give clear written feedback distinguishing factual errors from matters of preference.
  • Understanding of the marketing strategy behind the work.
  • Project coordination skills, including managing dated launch processes, following up on inputs from colleagues outside the reporting line, and communicating delays early.
  • Accuracy with claims, specifications, and numbers, and willingness to ask rather than assume.
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems using available resources.
  • Collaborative, respectful, helpful, and kind approach to working with others.
  • Ability to operate a computer for prolonged periods and perform moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, moving objects, reaching, and crouching.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work indoors at a desk and outdoors in a farm setting, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures and humidity.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Shopify and customer review or support platforms such as Yotpo and Gorgias.
  • Experience in home, garden, outdoor living, or other considered-purchase consumer categories.
  • Experience working alongside product development or engineering teams.
  • Experience contributing to a style guide, messaging framework, or review standard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product marketing for assigned product categories and develop deep knowledge of the products, customers, and competitive set.
  • Own product information handoffs from Product Development, confirming specifications, claims, and proof points are complete and returning incomplete submissions rather than filling gaps with assumptions.
  • Confirm that testable claims for assigned products are approved, substantiated, and logged in the claims registry before publication.
  • Write Product Detail Page copy and install it into Figma wireframes with visual direction.
  • Review product page drafts from other team members, provide written feedback against a documented standard, and escalate judgment calls to the Senior Branding Manager.
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across touchpoints.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and quality.
  • Use performance data and customer feedback to optimize copy for engagement and conversion.
  • Contribute to launch briefs by gathering product specifications, voice-of-customer research, competitor analysis, and substantiated claims, and drafting sections for review.
  • Recommend product naming and site placement in launch briefs, including shopping feed product type, navigation and collection placement, and related existing product pages.
  • Coordinate with Product Development, Creative, UI/UX, and E-commerce to resolve product questions and keep launches on schedule.
  • Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, including peak-season workload across other categories.
  • Assist the Branding Team with tasks from the managing Partners.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Company-sponsored breakfasts and lunches.
  • Supportive leadership, engaging activities, employee appreciation, and other workplace perks.
