About The Position

As Senior Product Manager, Growth, you will own how patients experience Novellia for the first time and develop the product loops that grow the patient base and deepen engagement, including onboarding, referrals, community, and trust. You will join a growing, cross-functional team focused on the patient product and work with UX, Engineering, and Commercial partners to turn growth experiments into lasting product improvements. The role reports to the CTO initially, with a path to reporting to the Head of Product as the team grows. Novellia's mission is to advance patient equity and improve healthcare access and outcomes. Its patient-powered real-world data platform gives people access to their health records and transforms patient-authorized longitudinal health data into datasets for biopharma research and evidence generation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience and a track record of growing consumer products, ideally in health technology.
  • Hands-on growth experience across acquisition, activation, or retention, with examples of metrics improved and how they were improved.
  • Strong product analytics skills and experience building data-driven features and measuring outcomes in collaboration with a Data team; able to conduct funnel, cohort, and retention analysis and define success metrics before launch.
  • Experience with Mixpanel or Amplitude; SQL proficiency is preferred.
  • Experience designing and running experiments such as A/B tests, holdouts, and staged rollouts, and rigorously interpreting results.
  • Experience with referral programs, onboarding flows, community building, or lifecycle messaging such as email, push, or in-app messaging.
  • Ability to write clear PRDs that Design and Engineering can build from with minimal back-and-forth, balancing engineering capacity and ambitious goals.
  • Ability to conduct independent user research, including interviews, usability tests, and surveys, and translate findings into prioritized decisions without a dedicated researcher.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile (iOS and Android) release cycles and platform constraints.
  • Passion for changing how patients manage diagnoses, consume health data, and take control of their treatment journeys.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with Design, Engineering, and non-technical partners.
  • Comfort with ownership and ambiguity in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Early-stage startup experience from seed through Series B, including helping create processes.
  • Experience with trust and safety, identity verification, or privacy in a consumer or healthcare product.
  • Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards or structured health data, such as FHIR, claims, or EHR, and understanding of data quality and completeness challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own the patient growth funnel from first visit through connected records and active, returning use; set targets and drive results.
  • Redesign onboarding and record connection flows to reduce time to first value and improve activation.
  • Build and scale referral and community programs that attract patients through trust, including patient advocates and condition-specific communities.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design on product trust and safety, including identity verification, abuse prevention, and privacy controls.
  • Run ongoing experiments by forming hypotheses, defining data-informed KPIs and success metrics, testing, shipping quickly, and making decisions based on results.
  • Improve retention and engagement by turning product analytics, user research, and support signals into prioritized product bets.
  • Align patient growth with customer project needs and the product vision in collaboration with commercial stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate results, learnings, and tradeoffs to leadership and cross-functional partners.
