About The Position

Upstart’s Marketing Platform team builds tools, integrations, and measurement capabilities for owned and paid marketing channels, including Lifecycle (email, push, and SMS), Digital, Direct Mail, and Affiliate Partnerships. The team’s goal is to increase borrower originations while keeping customer acquisition costs low. The position will also extend the value of existing third-party integrations, vendors, and data sources while meeting immediate channel needs. The role is remote and available in the United States and Canada, subject to the stated hiring limitation for Quebec. The team operates across East and West Coast time zones. Employees are encouraged to participate in in-person team sessions, which for most teams occur once or twice per quarter for two to four consecutive days. The anticipated base salary range is $162,100–$224,500 USD for the United States and $153,000–$190,000 CAD for Canada; actual pay depends on location, skills, experience, and education or training. Total compensation may also include target bonuses and equity.
