Senior Product Manager, New Products

Ethos is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their New Products Team. The role involves launching complex products that add value for customers, agents, and partners. The Senior Product Manager will work with cross-functional teams to build and optimize products, validate hypotheses, and achieve product-market fit. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively while also making decisive decisions.

• Building end to end insurance products including Whole and Permanent Life Products and other insurance opportunities like Long Term Care Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Insurance Riders
• Working cross functionally with engineering, design, internal stakeholders, and third parties
• Creating a clear and compelling medium and long-term vision for a specific Ethos product area
• Building out a product discovery process for exploring new product ideas and using experiments to validate key hypotheses
• Optimizing the portfolio of life insurance experiences focused on accessibility, simplicity, and driving business results
• Working closely with Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering to transform ideas into compelling product experiences
• Designing and implementing A/B tests, conducting user and agent research, and validating key hypotheses
• Hone strategic thinking by transforming large data sets into a story that helps senior leadership make decisions
• Performing quantitative forecasting and qualitative research to identify product opportunities and prioritize the roadmap
• Driving the product development process from ideation to launch to impact analysis, collaborating with many teams along the way
• Having a deep understanding of customer needs and a strong motivation to tackle their problems
• Possessing strong analytical skills, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for data analysis
• Having an owner's mindset and not shying away from challenging tasks
• Conducting user research to inform product design and address pain points
• Demonstrating strong collaboration skills in team environments while also being able to make quick decisions.

• Experience in building end-to-end insurance products, including Whole and Permanent Life Products, Long Term Care Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Insurance Riders
