Senior Product Manager, Identity

Anduril•Seattle, WA

About The Position

Anduril’s Identity Engineering team builds and operates systems that determine access across the company, including single sign-on (SSO), access requests and reviews, device trust, and related automation. The team serves all Anduril groups, including teams with complex, mission-specific requirements. This is an ownership role in which the Product Manager decides what the team builds and in what order, manages stakeholder expectations, and is accountable for whether shipped products improve users’ experience. The Product Manager owns the identity roadmap end to end, prioritizes competing requests into near-term and half-year plans, and communicates decisions clearly to stakeholders. The role adapts off-the-shelf tools to Anduril’s needs, leads initiatives such as role-based access bundles, and manages launches through customer communications, change management, pilots, and adoption. It also uses support-ticket data and customer feedback to identify recurring problems and address them through roadmap improvements, self-service, or automation. The role writes product requirements documents (PRDs), defines success metrics, and reports progress to engineering and leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with identity, access management, or security platform products.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning a roadmap and its outcomes.
  • Sufficient technical depth to engage effectively with engineers on identity, access management, and security topics.
  • Strong opinions and the ability to defend them.
  • Care about users’ experience with internal identity tools and respond to users while remaining firm about priorities.
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication with audiences ranging from individual engineers to executives.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Product experience at an identity vendor or experience running workforce identity programs at a large or fast-growing company.
  • Experience with internal platform products where adoption must be earned or mandated.
  • Experience leading a consolidation or standardization effort across multiple engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted operations or automation, such as ticket triage or self-service agents.

Responsibilities

  • Own the identity product roadmap end to end and prioritize requests from across the company into near-term and half-year plans.
  • Communicate roadmap decisions directly to stakeholders, including explaining when requests are not prioritized while maintaining relationships.
  • Adapt off-the-shelf identity platforms to fit how Anduril teams work rather than relying on vendor defaults.
  • Lead flagship initiatives such as role-based access bundles that provide new hires with the access they need through a consolidated request.
  • Own customer communications, change management, pilots, and adoption for major capability rollouts.
  • Use ticket data and customer feedback to identify problems and convert recurring pain points into roadmap items, self-service, or automation.
  • Write PRDs, define success metrics, and report progress to engineering and leadership.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are part of total compensation.
  • Comprehensive, competitive benefits package available at little to no cost to employees, supporting health and recovery.
