About The Position

Anduril’s Identity Engineering team builds and operates systems that determine access across the company, including single sign-on (SSO), access requests and reviews, device trust, and related automation. The team serves every group at Anduril, with needs ranging from straightforward to deeply technical and mission-specific. The role also includes writing PRDs, defining success metrics, and reporting progress to engineering and leadership.

Requirements

  • A track record of owning a roadmap and its outcomes.
  • Technical depth sufficient to engage effectively with engineers on identity, access management, and security topics.
  • Strong opinions and the ability to defend them.
  • Care about users’ experience with internal identity tools and be responsive while remaining firm about priorities.
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication with audiences ranging from individual engineers to executives.

  • Experience with internal platform products where adoption must be earned or mandated.
  • Experience leading consolidation or standardization across multiple engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted operations or automation, such as ticket triage or self-service agents.

Responsibilities

  • Own the identity roadmap end to end, prioritizing competing requests into near-term, half-year, and out-of-scope decisions.
  • Communicate roadmap decisions directly to stakeholders, explain priorities, and maintain strong relationships when requests are declined.
  • Adapt off-the-shelf platforms into products that fit how Anduril teams work.
  • Lead flagship initiatives such as role-based access bundles that provide new hires with the access they need through one request.
  • Own customer communication, change management, pilots, and adoption for major capability rollouts.
  • Use ticket data and customer feedback to identify problems and turn recurring pain points into roadmap items, self-service, or automation.
  • Write PRDs, define success metrics, and report progress to engineering and leadership.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are considered part of total compensation.
