Senior Product Manager - Clinician Experience

K HealthNew York, NY
$150,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager, Clinician Experience, you will be responsible for shipping products into production at major health systems, working at the AI frontier with real clinical constraints, and operating cross-functionally with engineering, ML, clinical, design, and partner-facing teams. You will own the products clinicians use to review, act on, and trust what our AI produces, including tools that surface AI-gathered patient context, support clinical decision-making, and fit into workflows that are already overloaded. This includes the clinician-facing product surface (intake summaries, AI-generated patient context, review/override workflows, and documentation support tooling), the end-to-end encounter workflow, and trust and explainability mechanics. A key focus will be the reduction of clinical workload by saving minutes per encounter, removing clicks, and reducing documentation burden. You will work directly with practicing physicians to validate designed workflows, partner with clinical leadership on safety review and escalation protocols, and collaborate with engineering and AI/ML teams to translate clinical trust requirements into verifiable product behavior.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience shipping consumer or B2B2C software.
  • At least one product owned end-to-end from ambiguity to launch.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered products, understanding non-determinism, the importance of evals, and reasoning about model behavior as a product surface.
  • Strong analytical fluency: ability to pull own data, define own metrics.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Comfort operating in regulated, high-stakes environments.
  • Client-facing experience: comfortable presenting to and negotiating with external stakeholders (clinical, operational, and executive leaders at partner health systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or health tech experience (clinical workflows, EHR integrations, or regulated care delivery environments).
  • Experience building tools for expert or professional users.
  • A clinical background, or meaningful time spent working alongside clinicians.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM evaluation, prompt design, or model behavior testing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the products clinicians use to review, act on, and trust what our AI produces.
  • Develop tools that surface AI-gathered patient context, support clinical decision-making, and fit into existing clinical workflows.
  • Manage the clinician-facing product surface, including intake summaries, AI-generated patient context, review/override workflows, and documentation support tooling.
  • Oversee the end-to-end encounter workflow, from AI-gathered context through clinical decision to documentation.
  • Implement trust and explainability mechanics, including how the AI surfaces its reasoning and how clinicians correct or override it.
  • Drive the reduction of clinical workload by saving minutes per encounter, removing clicks, and reducing documentation burden.
  • Work directly with practicing physicians (internal and health system partners) to validate designed workflows.
  • Partner with clinical leadership on safety review and escalation protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI/ML teams to translate clinical trust requirements into verifiable, implementable product behavior.
