This role involves performing highly advanced (senior-level) consultative services and functional assistance for the CAPPS Program. The primary focus is on developing, modifying, and maintaining reports using PeopleSoft reporting tools (Query Manager, BI Publisher, PS/Query expressions, complex joins) and CPA-provided tools like SAP Business Objects. The analyst will translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring reports align with statewide policy, regulatory requirements, and agency-specific needs. Key responsibilities include working with functional analysts and business owners, creating report templates, analyzing PeopleSoft data structures, optimizing report performance, supporting reporting during system updates, ensuring data security and compliance, producing documentation, participating in system testing, and providing end-user support. The role also includes project-level participation for expansions and cyclic processes, functional design for CAPPS HR/PY, Level 2 Service Desk support, ensuring WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, and adhering to ITIL principles. The analyst will work under minimal supervision, validate data accuracy and security, and actively participate in incident management, disaster recovery, and audit processes.
