About The Position

SA Technologies Inc. is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant for an onsite, 1-year contract role in Oakland, California. This position is purely functional, focusing on core HCM and Payroll operations within a Higher Education community college environment. The consultant will be responsible for daily production support, hands-on configuration, payroll processing, year-end activities, audits, and commitment accounting validation. The role requires translating business needs into functional designs, leading functional testing for PUM releases, maintaining documentation, and supporting integration with Finance. The consultant will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

12+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience.
Strong Higher Education exposure.
Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area.

Nice To Haves

California community college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Hands-on functional configuration and day-to-day production support for core HCM and Payroll operations.
Support and maintain PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting.
Provide daily production support.
Perform hands-on configuration.
Support payroll processing.
Handle year-end payroll activities.
Conduct audits.
Perform commitment accounting validation.
Translate HR and payroll business needs into functional designs and specifications.
Lead functional testing for PUM releases.
Maintain functional documentation.
Support integration with Finance.
