About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of DHL Supply Chain warehouses. The role leads teams, implements processes to optimize warehouse operations, fosters a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities and over 150 million square feet of warehouse space, with more than 50,000 associates.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, guide, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports while building an inclusive team culture.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to identify talent aligned with organizational values, culture, and job requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
