About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) oversees outbound warehouse functions on the first shift and helps ensure smooth, efficient warehouse operations. The role leads and develops a diverse team, implements workflows and best practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency, promotes safety and compliance, and supports continuous improvement. The position also partners with Human Resources, site leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to support hiring, fulfill customer orders, and maintain customer satisfaction. The work environment is business casual and emphasizes teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering a team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
• Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
• Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing input to support selection of candidates aligned with organizational values, culture, and job requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
• Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
