About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient warehouse operations and implementing processes that optimize performance. The role leads and develops a team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fosters a safe, productive, inclusive work environment, and contributes to operational and organizational success. It works with cross-functional teams and customers to support prompt, consistent order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, while fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety compliance and foster heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to identify candidates aligned with organizational values, culture, and job requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and prompt customer order fulfillment.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
