About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of DHL Supply Chain warehouses. The position leads and develops a team, implements processes to optimize warehouse operations, fosters a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. The organization describes a business-casual environment focused on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on Supervisor hiring and provide input on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Partner with customers and address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
