About The Position

Hyve is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to own logistics delivery for LegalTechTalk USA 2027, a first-edition event. The role manages vendor procurement, venue orders, staffing, security, budgets, and the processes needed to support future editions. During the launch phase, the role also supports sponsor operations until a dedicated Sponsor Operations team is in place. Travel to Miami for site visits and onsite delivery is required, as is commuting to Hyve’s New York offices 2–3 days per week as needed. The position leads event planning and delivery from pre-event planning through onsite execution, including the Meetups program. It manages budgets and forecasts, vendor and venue relationships, site visits, RFPs, floor plans, room sets, AV, food and beverage, décor, signage, collateral, staffing, security, venue BEOs and MEOs, permits, approvals, health and safety, crowd management, accessibility, and the event run-of-show. The role also directs assigned event coordinators, manages contracts, invoices and insurance, plans temporary and contract staffing, and leads post-event reconciliation and vendor debriefs. It works with commercial, marketing, content, production, and AV teams to deliver commercial partnerships. While sponsor operations staffing is being established, the role maintains commercial inventory with the Event Director and Senior Sponsorship Manager, works with the VP of Operations on the show floor, and manages sponsored features and activations from the RFP process through onsite build. The role is part of Global Ventures, Hyve’s accelerator unit for launching events and scaling new ventures; its responsibilities may evolve in the small, fast-moving team.
