About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of DHL Supply Chain warehouses. The role leads teams, implements processes to optimize warehouse operations, fosters a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to operational success and customer satisfaction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, has over 50,000 associates, and manages more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports while fostering an inclusive team culture.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Promote compliance with health and safety regulations and strengthen safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on Supervisor hiring and provide input on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Partner with customers and address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
