Senior Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$136,000 - $264,500

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an engineer to verify the design and implementation of leading SoCs and GPUs. The role is part of a circuit verification team working on mixed-signal CMOS circuits and on defining a high-speed SerDes platform for future computing products, across areas including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence. The engineer will verify mixed-signal CMOS circuit designs, architectures, and golden models using advanced verification methodologies. They will understand complex circuit design and implementation, define verification scope, build verification infrastructure, and verify design correctness. The role involves close collaboration with circuit and logic design, verification, and test engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or CE, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience.
  • Experience with deep sub-micron process design in CMOS analog or mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Skill with design and verification tools, including Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools such as HSpice, FineSim, or XA.
  • Experience creating testbench environments for component-level and top-level circuit verification.
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog or a similar hardware verification language.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Perl and C/C++ programming languages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work effectively as a teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the design and implementation of leading GPU products.
  • Verify mixed-signal CMOS circuit designs, architectures, and golden models using advanced verification methodologies.
  • Understand mixed-signal CMOS circuit design and implementation, define verification scope, and develop verification infrastructure.
  • Verify the correctness of circuit designs.
  • Work closely with circuit and logic design, verification, and test engineering teams.
