About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to lead the design of CMOS high-speed interface and mixed-signal circuits. The role involves designing high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs, and taking circuit designs through implementation and productization. The engineer will work closely with IC circuit and mask designers, provide floorplanning and layout guidance, and collaborate with multifunctional teams. Strong hands-on lab experience is needed to support silicon validation, characterization, debugging, and bring-up, including work on deep-submicron CMOS design challenges.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of design experience in CMOS analog or mixed-signal circuit design.
Solid understanding of Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulators, and timing-analysis tools.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a teammate.
Proven experience crafting and mentoring designers.
Extensive experience with Tx, Rx, CDR, and PLL for high-speed I/O interfaces.
In-depth understanding of deep-submicron CMOS processes and related circuit-design issues.
Experience with silicon bring-up, debugging, and laboratory instrumentation.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of system-level timing budgets, signal integrity, and power integrity.
Experience with Verilog, Matlab, Primetime, and Nanotime.

Responsibilities
