About the position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Media Buyer who is skilled in programmatic and paid social media. The ideal candidate should be an analytical thinker with a passion for bringing creative media ideas to life. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing media buys across various platforms, as well as ensuring strong delivery of campaign objectives. The Senior Media Buyer will also be responsible for optimizing campaigns, building relationships with media representatives, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for campaign development, management, optimization, and reporting within various platforms, such as Strata, DSPs, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.
- Builds relationships and maintains ongoing communications with media representatives.
- Negotiates the best possible rates, placements, and added value across managed service and PG or PMP placements, documenting accordingly to share out with the larger team.
- Recommends and helps onboard key data and measurement partners, as needed for client campaigns.
- Integral activation lead in key client communication.
- Present at all key client presentations and meetings.
- Designs optimal buys in terms of cost efficiency, goal delivery, and KPIs.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly in-platform optimizations to drive client business and KPIs forward.
- Updates Supervisor on the status of current accounts on an ongoing basis and elevates any issues in a timely manner.
- Responsible for overseeing all campaign tracking set-up and implementation before the launch of a campaign, with support from Ad Operations.
- Works collaboratively with the Analytics team on reporting, specifically responsible for crafting actionable insights on media performance and presenting a performance story to clients.
- Lead in collaboration with finance team members to resolve media billing issues.
- Responsible for ongoing pacing against approved budgets and goals.
- Ensures strict adherence to client budgets while meeting client objectives.
- Stays current on all media trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidates based in Denver, CO or open to relocation are preferred
- 3+ years of Media Buying experience required (digital or social experience preferred)
- Experience in working on health care or highly regulated clients is preferred
- Knowledge and prior use of buying software (Strata preferred)
- Experience working in a DSP (T

- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Analytics, Creative, Account Management, Finance and Project Management
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment, with outside media sales reps as well as with current clients
- Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
