- Knowledge of loading and transcoding RAW footage
- Ability to create and organize projects
- Experience in laying out supers and generating prep for color grade, audio mix, and conform
- Proficiency in optimizing videos for social media
- Ability to edit cutdowns for TV and online videos
- Ability to search for and recommend online content, stock footage, and music options
- Willingness to participate in supervised sessions with senior editors, producers, creatives, and directors
- Knowledge of best practices for delivering high-volume commercial tagging work
- Ability to create agency and client review links and perform quality control checks
- Experience in maintaining asset libraries for ongoing client work
- Familiarity with project wrap process and archiving final projects, files, and deliverables
- Ability to create final deliverable files to spec for broadcast and online use
- Organizational skills for maintaining digital and physical storage spaces for asset retrieval
- Knowledge of checking in and checking out media assets through a vault database
- Ability to collaborate closely with lead editors
- Effective communication skills to provide ongoing project status updates to producers and senior artists.
