About The Position

The Senior Manager, Technology Operations is responsible for operational launches, operational performance, and scaling Walmart Fulfillment Services as it uses additional supply chain assets to enable fast shipping. The role leads planning and execution of complex technology programs aligned with strategic business objectives, and oversees financial management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation across multiple projects. It translates business needs into actionable technology solutions, drives operational efficiency and continuous improvement, and supports effective communication and collaboration across teams. The position is part of a team focused on optimizing operations and driving business improvements that support both immediate execution and long-term strategy. The team collaborates across departments with leaders, associates, and stakeholders to improve efficiency, communication, and alignment with organizational priorities. Its work supports business readiness, better decision-making, and enterprise-wide performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or a related area and 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area; or 7 years of experience in those areas without the degree option.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Proven expertise in program and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation across multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of technology strategies and ability to align business unit requirements with technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs using established program management frameworks and tools.
Experience in business operations focused on execution, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.
Leadership skills in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams while promoting ethical standards and integrity.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or a related area and 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility in line with Walmart accessibility standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to integrate new assets and scale business units.
Model and analyze strategic decisions for Walmart Fulfillment Services supply chain strategy and advise the business.
Identify opportunities to improve the speed, cost, and scale of the Walmart Fulfillment Services business.
Define goals, deliverables, and schedules for multiple complex programs aligned with strategic objectives.
Oversee program budgeting, cost monitoring, and resource allocation.
Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to support timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams while promoting ethical standards and integrity.
