About The Position

The Senior Manager, Sales Training plans, develops, directs, and coordinates training programs for pharmaceutical sales professionals, primarily in Specialty Care markets. The role influences training strategy, priorities, resource allocation, and execution across assigned brands or business units, and leads complex cross-functional initiatives. It may provide functional direction to Training Managers, field trainers, vendors, and project teams without direct reporting authority. The Senior Manager partners with Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Patient Access, Managed Markets, Medical, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure training aligns with business and brand strategy, field needs, and sound educational principles. The role assesses capability and training needs, develops and implements training content, and translates changing market information into relevant learning. It also oversees training operations, vendors, budgets, ACTO learning management system modules, and credentialing processes for Branded Pharmaceuticals. The position leads the strategic planning and end-to-end execution of national and regional sales meetings, including agendas, learning priorities, content, workshops, schedules, materials, facilitator preparation, logistics, approvals, and on-site delivery. The successful candidate brings mastery of the trainer role—from new-hire onboarding and advanced training to sales meetings, launches, and field trainer ownership—and can mentor newer trainers. This senior-level role requires professional maturity, the ability to lead through others, manage conflict and critical conversations, and demonstrate Keenova’s values.
