About The Position

Engine is hiring a Sales Training Manager to help develop and scale its post-onboarding sales skills program for customer-facing and prospect-facing representatives across five business units: Travel/Spend, Groups, Supply/Partnership, Omni, and OBT. The program is intended to be skills- and competency-focused, helping representatives continue to improve how they sell, serve, and grow customers after onboarding. The role combines coordination and project management with facilitating training sessions and helping measure changes in behavior and business results. The Sales Training Manager will work alongside existing Sales Training Managers and the Director of Revenue Enablement, and will report directly to the Director of Revenue Enablement. New-hire onboarding is owned by a separate onboarding team; this role partners with that team and facilitates onboarding sessions as needed. The role will help build a competency framework, assess and rework existing curriculum, and create modular learning content and skills-based certifications that can scale across business units. Certifications may include role-plays, recorded pitches, and call reviews assessed against clear rubrics. The role is expected to use AI first to create content, practice scenarios, role-plays, and call coaching at scale. The Sales Training Manager will facilitate in-person and virtual workshops, role-plays, and practice sessions; use conversation intelligence tools to support call reviews and coaching; and help managers reinforce skills with coaching guides and scorecards. The role will also manage program calendars, cohorts, logistics, communications, and enrollment; coordinate with stakeholders across business units; and collaborate with Revenue Enablement Managers, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and the onboarding team. The role will support measurement and iteration by bringing together participation and certification rates, competency scores, call-review observations, and Salesforce performance data to assess behavior change and business outcomes. It will also help prepare program updates for the Director of Revenue Enablement, support adoption of enablement technology, build stakeholder relationships, and use feedback from representatives, managers, and leaders to improve the program. The position is preferably based near Engine's Denver, Colorado or Chicago, Illinois hubs, though candidates elsewhere in the United States may be considered. Travel is expected about one week per month, as well as for major company events.
