About The Position
The Senior Manager, Operations leads complex projects and programs by managing timelines, resources, and communication to support successful implementation. The role uses data-driven insights to influence business strategies, improves processes, and collaborates across functions to develop solutions aligned with organizational goals. It oversees budgets, mentors teams, and fosters a high-performance environment while supporting continuous learning and operational excellence and upholding company values and ethical standards. The position is part of Walmart Connect’s Sales Strategy Transformation team, which turns business priorities into actionable strategies to improve sales effectiveness and operational excellence. Working with Sales leadership and cross-functional partners, the team leads strategic initiatives, streamlines processes, removes execution barriers, addresses complex challenges, and develops scalable solutions that enable Sales teams to build advertiser relationships and expand business. The role is based at the listed primary location in Hoboken, New Jersey. The job posting also lists a salary range for Bentonville, Arkansas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field and 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area; or 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Expertise in operations and project management, including leading complex initiatives and managing multiple work streams.
- Strong analytical skills to source, organize, and interpret data and provide actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Experience developing and implementing business solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive operational excellence.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
- Skill in managing budgets, approving expenditures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- Leadership experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
