About The Position

The Senior Manager, Operations leads the execution of complex projects and programs, managing timelines, resources, and performance standards to support successful implementations. The role provides data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to improve business efficiency and operational effectiveness. Working cross-functionally, the Senior Manager drives process improvements, innovation, and cost-reduction initiatives while overseeing budgets and stakeholder engagement. The role also develops team members through coaching and performance management and upholds company values and compliance to deliver business results aligned with organizational goals. The team leads Walmart’s fulfillment transformation through strategic program management and data-driven decisions to improve customer experience. It manages initiatives involving speed, assortment, pricing, and recovery in collaboration with Product, Pricing, Walmart+, Merchandising, Network, Operations, Analytics, and Finance teams. The team identifies challenges, designs tests, and scales solutions, aligning initiatives with Walmart’s objectives through stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, and business operations. The position is based at 1601 SE 10th St, Bentonville, Arkansas. The annual salary range is $90,000 to $180,000, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include stock compensation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field and 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area; alternatively, 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Expertise in operations and project management, including leading complex initiatives and managing multiple work streams.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and turn insights into actionable business recommendations.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to develop and implement process improvements that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ability to develop and manage budgets and approve expenditures in alignment with business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and project execution.
