About The Position

Bask & Lather Co. is seeking a Senior Experiential Marketing Manager to own how customers experience the brand across events, PR boxes, gifting and launch kits, retail displays, merchandising, sampling, community experiences, brand partnerships, and physical and digital activations. The role owns each experience from concept and business case through production, delivery, quality checks, and measurement. It is a hands-on position for a proactive operator who turns brand and business priorities into an experiential calendar, realistic budgets, and well-executed experiences. The manager brings recommendations forward, secures alignment and approvals, and drives delivery through clear ownership, verified details, and consistent follow-through. Success means deepening customer connection, supporting retail and commercial growth, and delivering measurable outcomes while using time and resources carefully. The role develops and maintains a rolling 12-month customer experience and activation calendar, recommends and evaluates opportunities, and builds annual and project-level budget proposals and business cases. It owns end-to-end event production and readiness, including planning, logistics, staffing, vendors, onsite execution, reconciliation, and follow-up. It also sources and manages brand partnerships and community collaborations, works with Commercial on trade and retail activations, and leads customer experience programs such as PR boxes, gifting and launch kits, displays, merchandising, and sampling. The manager coordinates with the Art Director on concepts and briefs while driving approvals and vendor execution. The position sets event-specific KPIs and reporting responsibilities, tracks costs and outcomes, communicates milestones, budgets, risks, decisions, and next steps, and documents post-activation reviews. It builds reusable playbooks, vendor records, asset inventories, and reporting templates, using feedback and quality findings to improve future experiences. The role is remote, with onsite event execution and travel required, including scheduled evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Evidence of commercial judgment, financial discipline, and practical performance reporting.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to secure inputs, resolve blockers, and drive follow-through independently.
  • Experience developing and executing brand partnerships, including proactive sourcing, negotiation, and measurable value.
  • Experience owning PR boxes, gifting kits, and retail display programs from concept through production and delivery, including sample review, assembly, quality checks, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month customer experience and activation calendar aligned with product launches, brand campaigns, retail priorities, and commercial goals.
  • Proactively recommend events, partnerships, and activation concepts, defining audience fit, objectives, timing, resource requirements, and expected outcomes.
  • Build proposed plans and budget scenarios, refine them with leadership and Finance, and evaluate opportunities to recommend where to invest, simplify, or decline participation.
  • Develop annual and project-level budget proposals and business cases, obtain approvals before commitments or deposits, and track committed, forecast, and actual costs with Finance.
  • Own events from brief and planning through onsite execution, breakdown, reconciliation, and follow-up.

  • Identify and develop partnerships with complementary brands, community organizations, salons, stylists, event platforms, and cultural or retail partners.
  • Initiate partnership outreach and proposals; manage approved collaborations from concept through activation, partner follow-up, and measurement.
  • Negotiate proposed partnership scopes and commercial terms within delegated authority, secure approvals, and maintain a pipeline with next steps, owners, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Commercial, PR, and Influencer teams on relationship ownership, messaging, and overlapping opportunities.
  • Partner with Commercial on trade shows, retailer events, beauty supply activations, education experiences, and qualified business-development opportunities.

  • Develop experience concepts and briefs with the Art Director, who leads visual design and artwork, and drive approvals and vendor execution.
  • Manage retail display development and rollout from specifications and prototypes through fabrication, shipment, installation, and in-market verification.
  • Manage PR box and gifting programs from concept through recipient-ready delivery, coordinating recipient strategy with PR and Influencer teams and checking samples, product fit, inserts, protective packaging, and the unboxing experience.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain on inventory, packing, freight, storage, and asset reuse, confirming capacity and responsibilities in advance.
  • Partner with Social, Influencer, PR, and Retention on promotion, guest communications, content capture, consent-based lead collection, and follow-up.
  • Produce designated social commerce experiences, aligning talent, set production, product education, stock readiness, and run-of-show with channel goals.
  • Set event-specific KPIs and reporting responsibilities before launch, tailored to objectives such as customer acquisition, education, retail support, trade relationships, or sales.
  • Report fully loaded costs, attributable sales and contribution where measurable, qualified leads, customer engagement, content deliverables, and follow-up outcomes; state attribution assumptions and limitations.
  • Provide weekly updates on milestones, budgets, risks, decisions, and next actions, and close out events with documented performance reviews and recommendations.
  • Build reusable playbooks, vendor records, asset inventories, and reporting templates for events, PR boxes, gifting, and retail displays.
  • Use recipient feedback, field photos, delivery issues, and quality findings to improve future experiences.
