Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of executive support experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
  • Significant experience directly supporting C-level or similarly senior executives.
  • Experience successfully supporting multiple senior executives at once.
  • 2+ years of people management, team leadership, or meaningful experience coaching and developing other EAs.
  • Exceptional personal organization and ability to manage a large number of open loops at once.
  • Strong judgment and comfort operating with incomplete information.
  • A track record of anticipating needs and taking action without waiting for explicit direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High responsiveness and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to distinguish what requires immediate attention from what can wait.
  • Experience building or improving executive support systems, processes, or teams.
  • This role is best suited for someone who has been a high-performing EA, still loves being deeply hands-on in executive support, and is excited to raise the bar for an entire EA function. It is not designed for someone looking to move away from direct executive support into a primarily managerial or operational role.

  • Maintain visibility across open commitments and ensure important work continues moving even as priorities shift quickly.
  • Proactively communicate progress, flag blockers early, and ensure executives are never left wondering where something stands.
  • Serve as a trusted partner who operates with discretion, urgency, strong judgment, and sound instincts.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the EA team.
