  • Deep hands-on experience with Knak.
  • Technical fluency in segmentation, automation, tracking, and deliverability sufficient to review send setup and identify issues.
  • Strong creative and editorial judgment, including the ability to improve messaging, concepts, and execution beyond the initial brief.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking across audience growth, experimentation, database health, and performance tied to business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional influence and clear communication with leadership.
  • Ability to align stakeholders, make tradeoffs, push back constructively, mentor teammates, and drive accountability.

  • Experience with customer adoption, cross-sell, or upsell programs.
  • Experience with email across multiple segments, regions, or products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing Operations on the email calendar and own decisions about what is sent and when.
  • Prioritize competing email requests to provide relevant, valuable content without overwhelming contacts.
  • Align campaign owners on priorities and timing, communicate tradeoffs, and constructively push back on requests that weaken the audience experience.
  • Set creative standards for email concepts, copy, and design; use briefs and performance insights to guide reviews and coach Creative and Campaign partners.
  • Build, quality-check, and optimize modular emails in Knak, including personalization and reusable components.
  • Create email templates, workflows, and quality-assurance standards for consistent execution.
  • Review Marketing Operations’ technical setup and sending work and flag targeting, automation, tracking, or delivery issues.
  • Grow and protect the reachable prospect database in partnership with Marketing Operations, including acquisition, segmentation, automation, deployment, deliverability, consent, and suppression.
  • Lead tests across audiences, offers, messages, formats, cadence, and timing, prioritizing experiments by business impact and learning value.
  • Measure conversion, pipeline, opportunities, and revenue alongside engagement, audience health, and deliverability.
  • Translate performance results into clear leadership recommendations on strategy, creative, targeting, and investment.
  • Partner with Lifecycle and Customer Marketing to develop and optimize adoption, cross-sell, and upsell programs.
