Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical, or biotech sales specifically selling or managing sales teams for FDA-approved products to licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Valid Driver’s License in one of the 50 United States.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
  • Residence within the assigned geography or willingness to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven management and supervisory experience coaching and motivating a team.
  • Completion of a J&J Management Development Program (Field Development Program, DM Prep Program) or equivalent management experience.
  • Prior experience in rare diseases, particularly in neurology and hematology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time.
  • Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted, responsible AI use and sound judgment in applying AI-enabled insight.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, develop, and inspire a team of RDAEs to achieve sales objectives for Immunology Autoantibody products within the Johnson & Johnson portfolio.
  • Develop a district vision and cultivate a high-performance team culture to achieve sales quotas.
  • Shape and implement business strategies including designing local ecosystem strategic plans and account level strategies.
  • Manage operations within assigned budgets and ensuring plans align with overall strategy.
  • Engage and coordinate with other field partners to ensure an aligned approach for success.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal partners (e.g., Brand Marketing, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence) and external stakeholders to inform brand strategy and drive business results.
  • Effectively engage with key influencers (KOLs, C-suite executives) to advocate for our product offerings.
